Jabrin castle

This castle lies in the Jabrin village which is 10 kilometres west of centre the wilayat and it is probably the finest and most picturesque fort in Oman built by Imam Bil'arab bin Sultan in 1669 AD both as an elegant palace to reside and a center for learning Islamic Shariah,Arabic language,literature and other sciences. Finely decorated ceilings of the fort are subtly painted with flowing curves and flower patterns. What makes the structure unique is that it uses the natural light to light its interiors and the breathtaking natural sceneries that sussound tge fort
