Omani women use silver in the from of a variety of ornaments such as necklaces ane barcelets .Quranic inscriptions often find thier place in the necklaces . The wemen also explicit gold jewellery used by Omani wmen are spiked bracelets,rings adorned with precious stones known as"Alkhatim" and the mafraq, a type of crown .The women also use earrings,pendants,scarf pins and brooches, made of silver and gold .The old souq in Mutrah has uniqe collection of popular traditional Omani Ornaments.
